This course is available for people working with children and families in Stoke-on-Trent. For those working with children and families outside of Stoke-on-Trent, please contact your local Safeguarding Children Partnership.
Participants must have undertaken Level 1 Child Protection training before attending this course.
TRAINING COST:
The cost to attend this course is:
- £30 per person
(With the exception of the three statutory safeguarding partners, voluntary, faith, charitable and community interest company organisations).
Course outline:
- Definitions of modern slavery and human trafficking
- Why are people trafficked
- Different types of slavery
- How to spot the signs of slavery/exploitation
- How to report and respond.
All the above objectives will cover adult and child victims
