Detail:

The purpose of child safeguarding practice reviews is to identify improvements needed and to consolidate good practice. The findings are then translated into a programme of action which leads to sustainable improvements and the prevention of death, serious injury or harm to children.

Following on from the recent publication of Child Safeguarding Practice Review (CSPR) for Child I, the Board are holding this learning event for all practitioners.

To deliver the most up to date learning, actions, and impact against this CSPR, we have invited Lead Reviewer Allison Sandiford to speak on the background, process and learning within her report and how this developed through the review to the recommendations.

To accompany Allison, we also welcome Review Team members on behalf of their agencies to deliver what has changed as a result of this review against the learning identified. The event will be opened by Independent Chair and Scrutineer Ian Vinall.
