Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board offer Safeguarding Level 1 Core Slides to enable you to deliver this essential training to all your staff internally for £100. During the period of your license Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board will ensure the slides are updated with any changes to statutory regulations and legislative guidance and will automatically send you the most up to date version. The Core Slides are licensed to you between October 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024 and must be renewed every September to ensure you have access to these updates.

During September 2024 we will be offering a massive discount of 20% to the recommended retail price – £80 for 2024/25. Core slides purchased after September 2024 will be at the full price of £100 until August 2025.
Please note organisations purchasing and using the Core Slides are responsible for making any changes to the training in line with local and organisational working practices and to ensure they have the most up to date version of the slides issued every September.

This course is directly aimed at those agencies that would prefer to deliver their level 1 training in house, i.e. to a single agency. It will provide you with the opportunity to deliver a locally designed product that contains the most up to date information, including thresholds and referral pathways, as well as information about key priority areas for the Board. Please note that you can add to the slides to make them relevant for your organisation, please do not take slides out.

SSCB do expect the the Deputy or Designated Safeguarding Lead to present these slides as they have the knowledge and expertise in the subject. To maintain a positive learning environment, this training is appropriate for groups of no larger than 40 people in order to be able to reflect on practice and work through activities in an effective way.  For larger groups, please deliver this training in multiple sessions.
