What is it about?
This event will launch a creative suite of online resources designed to empower professionals in recognising and supporting children and young people experiencing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Trauma. These resources aim to elevate awareness and provide effective support, ultimately contributing to the prevention and reduction of violence in our communities.
Developed in partnership with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Violence Reduction Alliance, Trauma Informed Consultancy Service (TICS), the local Safeguarding Children Partnerships, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board, and Staffordshire Police, these cross-sector resources are set to make a significant impact.
This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from Dr Lisa Cherry, who brings a wealth of experience in supporting professionals across various sectors. Dr Cherry will share insights on trauma-informed practice, benefiting all those working with children, young people, and their families.
