What is it about?
If you work with children and young people and you would like to join us to make a significant difference to the lives of children and young people in our community through trauma informed practice.
Keynote Speaker: Dr Lisa Cherry, Director of Trauma Informed Consultancy Services Ltd, will share her extensive experience in supporting professionals across various sectors. Dr Cherry will provide valuable insights on trauma-informed practice, which will benefit everyone working with children, young people, and their families.
Event Highlights:
- Launch of a creative suite of online resources designed to help professionals recognise and support children and young people experiencing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Trauma.
- Resources developed based on feedback and needs from practitioners.
- Aim to raise awareness and provide effective support, ultimately helping to prevent and reduce violence in our communities.
This initiative is developed in collaboration with the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Violence Reduction Alliance, Trauma Informed Consultancy Service (TICS), Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnerships, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board, and Staffordshire Police.
