STOKE-ON-TRENT ONLY - (£100) Core Slides: Level 1 Safeguarding Children (1 September 2024 - 31 August 2025)

Cost: £100 per licence (per organisation/per education setting) (with the exception of the three statutory safeguarding partners, voluntary, faith, charitable and community interest company organisations).

Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnership offer Core Slides: Level 1 Safeguarding Children to enable you to deliver this essential training to all your staff internally. The package can be purchased on an annual basis by the agency, usually the Designated Safeguarding Lead, and will provide you with the opportunity to deliver a locally designed product that contains the most up to date information, including thresholds and referral pathways, as well as information about key priority areas for the Partnership. The Core Slides include trainer notes.

During the period of your license Stoke-on-Trent Safeguarding Children Partnership will ensure the slides are updated with any changes to statutory regulations and legislative guidance and will automatically send you the most up to date version. The Core Slides are licensed to you between September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025 and must be renewed every September to ensure you have free access to these updates.

To maintain a positive learning environment, this training is appropriate for groups of no larger than 40 people in order to be able to reflect on practice and work through activities in an effective way.  For larger groups, please deliver this training in multiple sessions.

Please note – those using the Core Slides are responsible for making any changes to the training in line with local and organisational working practices and to ensure they have the most up to date version of the slides issued every September.
