This course is available for people working with children and families in Stoke-on-Trent. For those working with children and families outside of Stoke-on-Trent, please contact your local Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Participants must have undertaken Level 1 Child Protection training before attending this course.

 

TRAINING COST:

This course is free to attend for all agencies

 

Learning Outcomes:

  • To understand the importance and impact of language when working with victims of child exploitation.
  • To be able to write about child exploitation in a clear manner without victim blaming.
  • To feel confident to challenge where inappropriate language is used in relation to child exploitation.
